History of Cheetham Hill Squash Club
Cheetham Hill Squash Club was formed in 1970 when two courts were built on the site of the old groundsman’s cottage of Cheetham Hill Cricket Club. A third squash court was added in 1977 due to the popularity of the sport.
In recent years the squash courts have been totally refurbished. This was funded by a grant of £82,000 from Sport England. We currently have 3 courts including 2 glassbacks, tiered seating and a viewing gallery.
